They are not as shiny as the picture, more of a grayish silver matte. Several were broken in the box, but they shipped more than I purchased so it evened out and I was able to have the amount I purchased that were not broken.I ordered a package of 24 of these gold chargers and literally EVERY ONE of them have a thumb print on the rim from whoever was making them. It is embedded and will not wash off because it is in the clear coating before it was dry. It's rather gross to have these on the table with plates sitting on them with a big thumb print on each charger. It looks like they were not washed and it's rather unappetizing to see this. Very disappointed.The plates looked great I just didn’t get all that I ordered No option to get the other plates So I had to return them for creditSome with scratchesI love these chargers. exactly what I wanted. the color is beautiful red. looks better than picture. sturdy, great quality.Good quality for the pricePicture shows a charger with ridges, Mine do not have the ridges, they are smooth around the edges.These complete my dining table. I use them everyday.
